Kitchen-corner

A corner of my kitchen. The eggshell face
has cornsilk for hair. This patch of blue
adds some colour to my otherwise, 'neutral'
colours in my kitchen.

Tea time!

Baked some, steamed some the other day.
The cake is lemony-pineappley and the
idli look-alikes are made with rice-flour
sugar, grated coconut, some baking powder
and mixed with water. The mixture is then
put in idli moulds and steamed.

Mother's Day!

Of all the blessings in heaven and earth,
there's none more real and beautiful as
a mother's love...
