Diwali is the "Festival of Lights" celebrated to mark the victory of good over evil. The story goes back to Hindu mythology...from the 'Ramayana'( Hindu epic ) where Lord Rama returns from exile after 14 years.
Actually, earthen lamps are lit but in this photo, I've used a lot of floating candles with rose petals...
Dew on the bamboo, yellow flowers and orange sunsets, the sound of rain...the whistle of the wind, the rush of flowing water, the smell of woodsmoke, the crackle of a wood fire,the moon in all its phases.......
